About the D. Y. Patil Group

The D. Y. Patil Group is a privately-held group of educational, sports and healthcare institutions. The group, among the largest of its kind in the country, was founded by Dr D. Y. Patil (bio) in 1983. Dr Patil is a recipient of the Padmashree, one of India's highest civilian honours.
